Dulux Colour Trends 2017

Dulux has recently released their colour trends for 2017 – Antidote: A Colour Cure. Prescribing a visual cure through colour, with four globally inspired palettes that promote warmth and tactility that will stimulate your senses.

Sentience – a tactile remedy

The Sentience palette takes its cues from textures and natural materials such as clay, minerals, stone and wood. Comprising subtle pastels and soft naturals, new beiges with hints of grey pair easily with mellow hues, while textures created with Dulux Suede Effect add another tactile dimension.

Chroma – a graphic view

The Chroma palette is full of with bold schemes creating an accessible and contemporary look that will stimulate and excite. Black and white is an important combination, while greyed off tertiary hues are paired with saturated colours including peach, melon, teal and blue to create intriguing combinations and graphic elements.

Entwine – a colourful weave

This interior style is eclectic with modern pieces, featuring rich colours inspired by landscapes from South America to the Middle East. Entwining modernity with tradition, the palette combines an eclectic range of colours with richness and warmth as well as unexpected accents. Bold traditional colours such as red, burgundy, brown and orange effortlessly combine with the zest of bright yellow and blue.

Construct – a lux foundation

Construct forms a perfect union of pared back beauty with a focus on raw materials, structure and form – a fusion of luxury and industrial elements. An atmospheric palette of blues and greys, with copper and rust accents for warmth.

“We can remember visiting the site almost every day and being excited as each stage progressed. The trades people Comdain used were friendly, approachable and always willing to help and suggest alternatives when we were stuck. Their attention to detail was obvious and they spent a lot of time to make sure everything comes together. There was something I had not seen for some time, ‘pride in their work’”
